Your bridal trial is a special part of your wedding journey — a time to slow down, explore ideas and feel confident in your final look.

During your trial, we’ll work together to create a hairstyle and makeup look that feels natural, beautiful and truly you — so when your wedding day arrives, everything feels easy and familiar.

Your Bridal Trial Experience

Your trial is a relaxed, one-on-one appointment held in my home studio in Wattle Grove.

This is your time to:

• Explore different hair and makeup styles

• Talk through your wedding vision

• Refine the details of your final look

• Feel confident knowing exactly what to expect on your wedding day

Trials typically take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the look we are creating.

During your appointment, we will usually focus on one main look, making small adjustments along the way to ensure everything feels just right.

If you’re deciding between styles, I’ll guide you using my experience to create something that suits you, your features and your overall wedding vision.

Additional changes or multiple full restyles may require extra time and may incur an additional charge.

​When to Book Your Trial

I recommend booking your trial 6–8 weeks before your wedding.

This allows us to finalise your look while everything is still fresh, giving you complete confidence leading into your big day.

How to Prepare

To get the most out of your trial:

• Arrive with clean, dry hair and minimal or no makeup

• Wear a neutral or strapless top

• Bring inspiration photos of styles you love

• Bring your veil or hair accessories (if you have them)

• If possible, bring colours or images of your dress, flowers or bridal party

These small details help bring your overall look together and ensure everything feels cohesive.

You’re welcome to bring along a friend or family member for support, or simply enjoy the time as a relaxed moment to yourself.

Your bridal party is also welcome to attend your trial, even if they are not having one themselves.

Trial Pricing

Hair & Makeup — $200 per person
Hair Only — $95 per person
Makeup Only — $110 per person
Lashes — $15

Trial prices are only valid if your wedding is booked with Tamara’s Hair & Beauty.

If you would like to book a trial before confirming your wedding date, standard special occasion pricing will apply.

Trials are designed to run within 1.5 to 2.5 hours. If your appointment exceeds this time due to additional changes or restyling, additional charges may apply.
